The season's first Major is on the board, and it delivered the biggest block of auto-bids on the Cup calendar. Plus: Member-Member crowns it’s champions, and the June Standoff wraps with the Cepuritis father-son pair on top.

DON'T MISS IT · QUALIFIER #2 · JULY 12 The next Cup qualifier lands July 12, and right now sign-ups are light — which means the four at-large spots per flight are wide open. It's one of only four standalone qualifiers all season and one of the most direct paths onto the Hud Dean Cup roster. If you've been waiting for your shot, this is it. Sign up in the Hiwan club calendar and post a round.

Stroke Play Sets the Board

The season's first Major went 36 holes at Hiwan, and it carries the most weight of any single event on the Cup calendar — the biggest block of Cup auto-bids on the schedule, drawn across all three flights. Final bids post to the live standings with the Qualifier #1 exemption list applied: anyone already locked in from Q1 rolls their spot to the next man in the flight. Stephen Reed posted the low round of the tournament, a 71 on Sunday, to close out a two-round 147 and take the Championship flight outright.

That's the largest single deposit of names into the Cup field this season. Two more standalone qualifiers remain — Q2 (Jul 12) and Q3 (Aug 8) — plus the Aug 30 Last Chance and the two remaining Majors.

Wagenseller & Milling Win the Horse Race

Hiwan's classic partner event ran its full five-round match-play format, crowning a champion in each of ten flights — then sending the flight winners into a closing horse race to decide the overall title. Wagenseller & Milling outlasted the field to take it, with Webre & Murray second and Mainzer & Doyle third.

Best Ball Wraps — Father-Son Cepuritis Take Sheriff

The four-round June best-ball session is complete. Father-son duo Edgar and Turner Cepuritis led wire-to-wire in the Sheriff Flight, opening 6.5–6.5 and never letting go to finish at 24 — the top total in the field. Collins & Hixson ran down a tight Gunslinger Flight to win at 20.5, holding off a four-way logjam at 18.5. Sixteen teams out across the session.
