New Tee Assignments for Championship Flight
Effective immediately — and in time for Qualifier #1 this Saturday, May 30 — the Championship flight will play a combined Blue/Black tee setup, and the Premier flight continues from the Blue tees.
What changed
Championship: Blue/Black combo (was: full Black tees).
Premier: Blue tees (unchanged).
Legacy flight unchanged: Still preferred tees, four spots advance per qualifier.
Effective: Qualifier #1 (May 30) onward.
The committee's reasoning: The Blue/Black setup returns qualifying to what has been customary for the last decade, including last year’s qualifying. The Cup matches themselves will be set up by the HMGA in consultation with the captains to construct the most competitive event possible.

It was a great weather day to start — until the lightning siren forced a delay. The field reconvened around the keg on Kyle's porch, then headed back out and put up some of the lowest scores you'll see on opening weekend. ABCD net scramble, and the top of the board was packed tight.
